1.Link Style Magnetic bracelets
For a link magnetic bracelet we recommend that the bracelet length should be approximately 1/2 inch (12mm) longer than the measured wrist size. This allows for wrist movement.
The bracelet should not be too tight as it may restrict the blood flow and feel uncomfortable. The bracelet should also not be very loose, as some of the magnets will not then be in contact with the wrist. Even if the bracelet is slightly loose, magnets will be touching the wrist at multiple points, as our link bracelets have magnets located in every link.
How much length you wish to add on to your measured wrist size will also depend on your personal preference. Our guideline for how tight or loose you might prefer it to be, is to go for a similar fit as to how you like to wear a watch.
By the way, we offer a removal tool which allow you adjust size easy at home. Adjust size instruction video is: https://vimeo.com/263455241

2. Bangle Style Magnetic Bracelets
Our bangle or open ended style magnetic bracelets generally is standard size which is suitable for wrist size approximately 6 3/4 to 8 inches. Note these bracelets can also be adjust to fit by pushing the ends closer together.
If you need other size, please contact us at support@mymagneticbracelet.com.
This is usual for this type of bracelet. All copper bracelets leave a copper deposit, it is part of the way they work.
The Copper bracelets form oxides on the surface of the bracelet, which should be absorbed by the body. The oxides may leave a green or black deposit on the wrist. How fast this happens depends on the person, the acid or ph in the persons' skin moisture. How visible this deposit is depends on the amount of oxide produced, which again depends on the person.
The copper oxides should have no effect on the magnetic aspect of the bracelet.
2. Should I wear my bracelet or therapy wrap 24 hours a day?No hard and fast rules. Experimentation is sometimes required. If trying to treat a strong set of symptom's then wear it as much as possible.
3. How long do the magnets last in a bracelet/bangle?
The effect of time on modern permanent magnets is minimal. Over a period of 10 to 15 years in normal use, a magnet will loose only a small fraction of its magnetization. Magnets will remain magnetized for several decades.
4.Can I expose my bracelet to water?
These types of bracelets (from any supplier) are not waterproof, but to a certain degree they are water resistant. The main area of potential water threat are the plating, if it has gold or silver, and the magnets which can possibly rust.
Our magnets are capped and then coated with resin, which protects them, but with repeated water exposure over time, it is possible that water can get in, it could be in 6 months or it could be in a few years depending on use. Having said that a lot of customers take the risk and use them in the shower as they find it more practical to keep them on. It is a personal decision, but water will degrade the bracelet over time.
5.Will Magnets definitely relieve my symptoms?
Many people do get a benefit from using Magnetic Therapy, but like all medical interventions not everybody does. Magnetic Therapy is part of complementary medicine, and generally this area of medicine has received less funding for research, what research has been conducted is usually small scale and limited in scope. Anybody who has seriously worked in these areas of medicine knows that they can be very useful to many people. But not all areas of complementary medicine are effective and not all people receive benefits.

6. Do the magnets need to be in any particular position via the main arteries?
Bangles: The magnets should roughly align with the pulse points. The six magnet bangles will make this easier.
Link bracelets: Have multiple magnets, so there is greater probability that the magnets align over the arteries.
Additional benefit: There is also an argument that says that a benefit is obtained by having an increase in magnetic energy into the body via a device like a magnetic bracelet. This is based on the fact that the Earths magnetic field has been in slow decline, and also that modern living can block the Earths natural field, resulting in a 'magnetic deficiency' that we may all suffer. Therefore a magnetic device, no matter what the positioning, may help to alleviate this.
7. I seem to be getting an allergic reaction, what is causing this?
This is quite rare but when it does occur it is usually related to a metal allergy, in particular nickel. About 2% of the population have some sort of nickel allergy either mild or more severe. The nickel is a small part of the composition of the plating over the magnet. In our products this is protected by a cap over the magnet, with a further epoxy coating over the magnets.
Even with this protection sensitive people can still be affected. Blisters and/or redness normally form around or near the position of the magnets. We often suggest to people who have this sort reaction, to coat the inside of the bracelet. A coat of clear nail varnish placed over the magnets will form a second barrier. It does not affect the magnet therapy but may help.Does a Bracelet have to be a tight fit around the wrist?
8.Does a Bracelet have to be a tight fit around the wrist?
Link bracelet style: The fit should be not too tight to stop the circulation. The magnets should make reasonable contact with the skin but note, a magnetic field operates several cm from the magnet. As a general rule, one finger width between the wrist and the bracelet is a good fit. This should usually be about 2cm longer than the tight wrist measurement.
Bangle style: The fit should be not too tight to stop the circulation. The magnets should make reasonable contact with the skin but note, a magnetic field operates several cm from the magnet.
