What Kinds of Magnets Are Used For Magnetic Jewelry?

Magnetic Therapy has become an alternative treatment method for many medical conditions. Magnetic bracelets are believed to work is via the magnetic influence over the blood flow at the wrist arteries, there are two main arteries at the wrist.

In this article, MagEnergy tells you what kind of magnets is best for magnetic therapy jewelry?

Magnets are objects that generate a magnetic field, a force-field that either pulls or repels certain materials, such as nickel and iron.

There are typically four categories of permanent magnets: neodymium iron boron (NdFeB), samarium cobalt (SmCo), alnico, and ceramic or ferrite magnets.

MagEnergy uses the most strong NdFeB for magnetic jewelry, as this type of magnet is composed of rare earth magnetic material, and has a high coercive force. They have an extremely high energy product range, up to 50 MGOe. Because of this high product energy level, they can usually be manufactured to be small and compact in size.

However, NdFeB magnets have low corrosion-resistance if left uncoated. If treated with gold, iron, nickel plating, or sealed with epoxy,so they can be used in many applications. They are very strong magnets and are difficult to demagnetize.

MagEnergy uses N50 type Neodymium magnets and all are covered with stainless steel cap then sealed by epoxy. So it could be safe to wear in a long time and waterproof.

Why N50 type magnets? Not N35, N40, N45. N50 is the most strong and good performance. Like the magnets, strength must above 1200Gauss, so the users could enjoy the magnetic field and effect. And most suitable magnets strength is 2500-3500Gauss. If too weak, magnetic therapy can’t work.

Neodymium magnetic therapy bracelets help alleviate pain, reduce inflammation and improve blood circulation.
It is also used to reduce stress and anxiety, improve sleep, and enhance overall balance and mood.
